Recently, as part of the "Vibrant China Research Tour" press campaign organized by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, the tour made a visit to Mabwell during its Shanghai itinerary. A joint delegation of dozens of major central and Shanghai-based media outlets, including People's Daily, Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, Science and Technology Daily, China Science Daily, China Youth Daily, Jiefang Daily, and Wenhui Daily, conducted on-site research and interviews. The event focused on the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical strategic emerging industry, with an in-depth exploration of vivid practice cases in which Chinese innovative drug companies have achieved independent R&D breakthroughs and end-to-end chain advancements. Mabwell has always adhered to source innovation, deeply cultivating differentiated frontiers, and has built a full industry chain for drug R&D and translation, contributing to scientific and technological innovation in the biopharmaceutical sector and the Healthy China initiative.

The "Vibrant China Research Tour" is a major national publicity campaign deployed and organized by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee. Closely following key areas of the 15th Five-Year Plan, it goes to the front lines to uncover industrial innovation achievements, showcase China's new quality productive forces, and build consensus on high-quality development. As a national strategic emerging pillar industry, biopharmaceuticals bear the dual mission of safeguarding public health and securing a commanding position in the global life sciences industry, making it one of the core fields of focus for this research tour. Mabwell was selected as a key research unit for the " Vibrant China Research Tour". Leveraging Shanghai and Zhangjiang’s well-established policy support and industrial infrastructure, the company has continued its technological breakthroughs, forging a development path from local innovation to global competitiveness.

Dr. LIU Datao, Chairman and CEO of Mabwell, presented to the delegation a comprehensive overview of the company's development history, innovative R&D achievements, and full-industry-chain layout. Mabwell focuses on oncology and age-related diseases, with a portfolio of 16 key products, of which four have already been approved for marketing, and is developing multiple drug candidates with first-in-class and potential first-in-class profiles both in China and globally.  The media delegation visited Mabwell's Innovation R&D Center and the Manufacturing Science and Technology R&D Center, gaining first-hand insight into the company's full-process R&D system—from early-stage discovery to CMC development—and its intelligent development capabilities. During interviews, Dr. LIU engaged in in-depth discussions with the journalists on topics such as pharmaceutical industry trends, policy empowerment, innovative R&D, industry-university-research-medical collaboration, and out-licensing and globalization. He emphasized that deep understanding of novel targets and disease mechanisms constitutes a true innovation moat, and expressed his conviction that China's innovative drugs will undoubtedly become one of the most important forces in the global innovative drug landscape.

The company's senior management team also held extensive exchanges with the journalist delegation. Dr. GUI Xun, Vice President; LI Gang, Executive Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology; HU Huiguo, Chief Collaboration Officer and Senior Vice President; and CHEN Xi, Vice President, elaborated on the company's innovation priorities, cutting-edge technology platforms, and global expansion strategy.
